CAMEC BREAKAWAY SYSTEM MKII
CAMEC’s next generation of the breakaway system is designed to function as the emergency brake system. Every trailerwith a Gross Trailer Mass (GTM) of over 2 tonnes must have the brakes applied for at least 15 minutes, in any event of accidental disconnection between trailer and towing vehicle, as required by Australian Design Rule (ADR) 38.

- Activates trailer brakes in the event of any disconnection from towing vehicle during movement
- Built in 12V 5Ah battery to provide power to apply brakes upon disconnection
- Battery level indicator provides status for charging checks before movement
